Where I am and where I'll be,
does not depend on you or me.
It depends on He
the Mighty,
Merciful and
Wise
Who is aware of what I say and do,
He sees all truth and lies.
But sometimes I forget and continue to chase,
Worldly pleasures in a haste.
The beauty, the bucks, and the glances,
All leave me betting my chances.
For better things yet to come,
When this chapter is over and done.
